Axiad, a leading provider of enterprise-wide passwordless orchestration, today announced the addition of two new executives to accelerate the company’s growth. Joe Garber and Eric Tocatlian, both veterans of the identity security industry with over 20 years experience each, will lead sales and marketing as Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Revenue Officer, respectively.
Garber most recently led marketing for Quest Software’s One Identity business unit, which delivers cloud-first identity security solutions to enterprises around the globe. He previously served as vice president of corporate marketing for Micro Focus, and has also held marketing leadership positions for large software-centric business units at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and HP.
Tocatlian previously led sales at Utimaco Inc., where he helped establish and expand the brand in North & South America, growing revenue more than tenfold, both organically and through M&As. He previously served in global and regional sales leadership roles, in the US and internationally, for Identity & Access Management leaders such as HID Global and ActivIdentity.

“With more than 10 years of experience serving the authentication, credential management, enterprise PKI, and MFA needs of customers, Axiad’s technology is already recognized as an industry leader in passwordless authentication. Now with our sights set squarely on growing the business at an even faster rate, enhancing our go-to-market capabilities is a logical next step in our evolution. The addition of Joe and Eric as key executive hires will help ensure that we are more systematic in our outreach and engagement to help fuel that growth,” said Yves Audebert, Founder, Chairman, President, and Co-CEO of Axiad.
A key element of Axiad’s go-to-market going forward will be driving awareness and positive customer outcomes centered around Axiad Cloud, which is an integrated authentication platform that delivers enterprise-wide passwordless orchestration.
“Modern enterprises are focused on a passwordless strategy to better secure the enterprise, but for organizations that are complex and have a heterogeneous IT ecosystem, the traditional approach has been highly fragmented,” said Bassam Al-Khalidi, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Axiad. “Axiad Cloud helps secure what matters most – in a holistic fashion, across the entire enterprise – with less internal disruption, cost and underlying risk than fragmented solutions. It is exciting to have such a solid value proposition from which to build our marketing programs and sales outreach.”
“This is an important moment in Axiad’s journey. I’m excited to leverage my experience to further accelerate our growth across all verticals, increase our market presence via partnerships and expand our integration into the cyber security ecosystem,” said Tocatlian. “Axiad Cloud makes enterprise wide passwordless a truly attainable goal for organizations that want to make authentication a seamless experience, while improving their security posture. It’s an exciting time to make our value proposition available to a wider audience.”
