The National Cyber Resilience Centre Group (NCRCG) is proud to announce Resilience as its latest National Ambassador.
In becoming an NCRCG National Ambassador, Resilience will focus primarily on promoting the importance of cyber resilience across the business and third-sector communities. The organisation joins fellow Ambassador companies Aviva, CGI, Chainalysis, KPMG, Mastercard, Microsoft, NatWest Group, SANS Institute, SAS, and The Very Group.
Born out of the US in 2016, Resilience is a cyber risk solution company, which helps financial, risk, and information security leaders improve their organisations’ cyber resilience by proactively identifying, prioritising, and remediating the most financially damaging risk to their business. Being able to communicate that risk, monetarily, at an executive and board level, drives cross functional buy-in to a shared business objective – being resilient to plausible material losses whilst continuing to add value to customers, maintaining business continuity and minimising losses.
This new Ambassadorial role forms part of the company’s wider commitment to sharing its knowledge and insights, embedding cyber resilience across the UK economy, and facilitating private-sector strategic engagement with government entities.
Simon West, Director of Customer Engagement at Resilience, said: “Behavioural change in organisations takes time. It’s a mindset shift from insurance and security to cyber resilience.”
Detective Superintendent Ian Kirby, CEO at NCRCG, said: “A very warm welcome to Resilience which now forms part of our cohort of top-tier National Ambassador companies driving a commitment to cyber resilience across the UK economy. To continue to strengthen the cyber resilience of our nation’s small and medium-sized businesses, it is important that we are pooling the knowledge and experience of experts across the private sector. We are therefore delighted to welcome an industry-leader like Resilience on board and, in doing so, expand our National Ambassador programme for the benefit of the business community we serve.”
