Fusion Risk Management, Inc. (“Fusion”), a leading provider of operational resilience, business continuity, and risk management software and services, today announced it has appointed Clifford Chiu and Jeffery J. Weaver to its Board of Directors.
Each brings extensive operational experience and expertise in governance, risk and compliance for regulated businesses to support Fusion’s long-term vision to meet evolving client and market resilience demands.

Jeffery J. Weaver is a senior financial services and risk management executive with deep expertise leading risk assessment for financial institutions and developing qualitative processes to measure and control risk.
He is currently Executive Vice President and Chief Qualitative Risk Officer at KeyCorp, one of the largest bank-based financial services companies in the U.S. His leadership experience spans senior roles at financial services companies including TD Bank, Bank of New York, JP Morgan and Citigroup.
He is the former Chairman of the Board and 11-year Director of the International Association of Credit Portfolio Managers (IACPM), a multinational industry association of 100+ financial institutions. Mr. Weaver is also a Life Member of the Cornell University Council and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Community Service Society of New York, The Cleveland Orchestra and The Union Club of Cleveland.
He holds a Bachelor’s in Economics and Government from Cornell University, where he also earned his M.B.A in Finance at the Johnson School of Management.
Clifford Chiu has more than 40 years of expertise and proven leadership experience across the global financial services and technology industries. He currently serves as a Senior Advisor to Vista Equity Partners and its executive committee as well as to Neuberger Berman. He is a member of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations.
Previously, he held roles as Partner at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR), Managing Director & Head of Asian Institutional Business at JP Morgan Asset Management (JPM) and Managing Director & Head of Hong Kong Investment Banking and previously Co-Head of Japan Investment Banking at Salomon Smith Barney/Citi (C), based in New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo.

He as a director at multiple companies, including Finastra plc, TIBCO Software, Apptio, Allvue Systems, Acquia and LogicMonitor. A champion of education, healthcare and racial equity, Mr. Chiu is a director or trustee of the St. James Settlement, Seton Fund, and previously held public appointments on the Market Development Committee of the HK Financial Services Development Council for the HK Hospital Authority’s United Christian Hospital and Tseung Kwan O Hospital for over a decade. He holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and a M.B.A. from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

They follow a year of significant growth for Fusion as it extends its market leadership in operational resilience. Fusion recently announced the onboarding of two of the top 10 global banks and another top 25 financial institution, and key executive appointments including Terese Fernandez, CMO, and Judith Tigner, COO.
