JetBrains, a Czech software development enterprise, released a statement that denied claims in the reports published in the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, that it was involved in the hack attack on SolarWinds. JetBrains has categorically denied the claims that it was under investigation regarding the attacks.
As per reports, U.S officials had investigated the possibility of Russian hackers breaching the network of JetBrains and launching attacks on their clients, SolarWinds being one of them. Investigators believed that hackers targeted one of the JetBrains products called TeamCity. However, Maxim Shafirov, CEO of JetBrains, released an official statement where they denied any knowledge of being under investigation.
