Lexop, a self-service software that optimizes the repayment journey for customers, today announced that it has successfully obtained the Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type II certification, one of the world’s most valued and rigorous independent audits. Per the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) standards, this attestation reports Lexop’s assurance to provide proper governance, controls, procedures, and safeguards to protect customers’ data from cyber attacks.
While SOC 2 Type I reporting standard demonstrates that Lexop developed robust internal controls, SOC 2 Type II ensures that these controls were repeatedly tested over time against the most common attack vectors and operated effectively according to the AICPA. The trust criteria involve Lexop’s core service obligations and commitments to optimizing internal security controls.

“Getting this certification plays a pivotal role in our ongoing commitment to affording our clients peace of mind on the subjects of data security and privacy,” said Michel Jamati, Co-Founder and CTO at Lexop. “We value and honor the trust they’ve put in our systems and technology offerings. Lexop’s positive SOC 2 Type II report reassures our high standards and integrity. When you partner with Lexop, know that you are in good hands.”
Lexop worked with Deloitte, a leading independent third-party service auditor, to complete the required review. Constituent to the extensive and comprehensive auditing process, the assessment was performed using industry standards along with the best practice guidelines and security testing methodologies to ensure that Lexop’s SaaS platform was evaluated appropriately.
