After a successful year of growth and development, the RealCISO Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Farry as Chief Executive Officer. Matt is a seasoned cybersecurity professional, entrepreneur and customer success leader with more than 15 years of experience. In his most recent role as co-founder and Chief Customer Officer, Matt provided oversight and guidance for RealCISO’s product development and customer success strategies, bringing agency-honed expertise to the company’s market strategy and enhancing its client experience initiatives.
Matt succeeds Brian Haugli, who announced his move from the company earlier this year. “We are thrilled to have Matt at the helm and look forward to executing our aligned vision with his drive and guidance” Akash Desai, board member, co-founder and CRO of RealCISO, says. “His leadership has been instrumental in our success to date, and we have no doubt he will continue this momentum as CEO.”
Matt has experience leading multidisciplinary, cross-functional teams across a wide range of industries in both public and private sectors. Additionally, he brings a military background coupled with extensive experience in budget management, strategic planning, training, and employee engagement. He holds a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification and has applied his leadership and management experience in his past professional roles, as well as to students as a mentor and educator.
