IT security expert Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity presents the following two new security solutions, approved by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) for levels of VS-NfD classification (RESTRICTED), NATO RESTRICTED DIFFUSION and UE RESTRICTED: the new generation R&S ® SITLine ETH NG high-speed network encryption device , which offers scalable transmission rates from 10 Mbit / s to 40 Gbit / s, and the R&S ® Trusted VPN Client software VPN client, which enables users to work in a secure and encrypted mobile environment.
With the R&S SITLine ETH NG, Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity provides basic application and user-independent security for cross-site network communications to government agencies and businesses. The variants of the product line are called R&S SITLine ETH-L, an encryption device for up to four independent 10 Gbit / s lines, and R&S SITLine ETH-S, a compact system for lines up to 1 Gbit / s. s. The solution encrypts communications that are already at Layer 2, providing protection against operational errors if, for example, an incorrect security level is selected for email transmissions of sensitive content. The network encryption device thus guarantees user independence from telecommunications and component suppliers. Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity Ethernet encryption devices are labeled “Security Made in Germany”. With 30 years of expertise in cryptography, the manufacturer is one of the pioneers in the field of network encryption.

With the R&S Trusted VPN Client, Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity facilitates encrypted and mobile work despite VS-NfD (RESTRICTED) requirements. The solution protects network communications from a client platform (Windows laptop or tablet) with a government or corporate network over an unsecured network such as the Internet. R&S Trusted VPN Client is software-based and requires no additional hardware, which means users can work from anywhere: at home, at the airport, or in other public areas, without any restriction. The “Always On” mode offers additional security. Users are always protected on unsecured networks.
