Stamus Networks announces the general availability of the Scirius Threat Radar, a new module for its network detection and response solution
Insigne New Software Offers Response-Ready Threat Insights to Save Time and Mitigate Risk
Stamus Networks, a fast-growing cybersecurity software company, today announced the general availability of Scirius Threat Radar ™, a new software module that builds on its solution Level 3 Network Detection and Response, the Scirius Security Platform ™.
The new capabilities completely redefine the process of hunting cyber threats on the network from a traditional alert-driven model to an asset-centric approach, allowing analysts to more clearly understand the impact of threats and accelerate incident response.
Scirius Threat Radar adds three important concepts to the Scirius Security Platform:
Advanced Threat Detection: Inspects all network activity and threat alerts to cut amid the noise and automatically identifies active threats targeting your assets. This dramatically reduces the number of potential incidents that your team must investigate.
Perspectives of attacks aimed at active: Change the focus of millions of indicators of commitment to a handful of committed assets and those assets groups under attack staged cyber chain elimination. This helps analysts prioritize their investigations.
Common threat definitions: Empower expert analysts to create organization-specific threat definitions and apply them to historical and future network traffic. This improves detection, streamlines response, and strengthens the contribution of less experienced analysts.
“We are proud to officially introduce the Scirius Threat Radar to our customers,” said Ken Gramley, CEO of Stamus Networks. “With these additions to the Scirius Security Platform, organizations can reduce the complexity and cost of implementing network detection and response. Scirius Threat Radar helps security teams learn more, respond earlier, and more effectively mitigate risk to their organizations. “
In addition to the introduction of the Scirius Threat Radar, the company announces the latest version of the software (U.35) for the entire series of Scirius Security Platform, adding performance enhancements, advanced threat capture filters as well as improvements to encrypted traffic, GRE tunnels, Splunk integration, and others.
