Accenture, a multinational consulting firm, has extended its security business by acquiring Sentor, a supplier of cyber defense and managed security based in Sweden, the company said recently. The deal’s terms were kept under wraps.
According to the companies, Sentor will merge with Accenture Security, which offers end-to-end cybersecurity services such as advanced cyber protection, applied cybersecurity solutions, and managed security operations.
Sentor’s services include advisory services, security testing, managed detection, and incident response, all of which are supported by a security operations center in Stockholm that operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Finance, insurance, manufacturing, and retail are just a few of the industries that it serves.
