Accenture has confirmed its plan to purchase Openminded, a French cybersecurity company. The acquisition would extend Accenture’s security arm’s presence in France and throughout Europe, according to the services and consulting firm. The deal’s financial terms were not disclosed.
Openminded, a cybersecurity firm established in 2008, offers marketing, consulting, and cloud and technology solutions, with an emphasis on risk analysis, remediation, regulatory compliance, and remediation.
During the fiscal year 2020, Openminded posted revenue of €19 million. Sephora, Talan, and Thales are among the company’s 105 staff and 120 customers. Openminded’s employees will join Accenture Security’s current workforce after the contract is completed.
