Adobe has appointed Maarten Van Horenbeeck to the role of chief security officer (CSO) and Nubiaa Shabaka to the roles of chief privacy officer and chief cybersecurity legal officer.
Shabaka is the first person to hold the position of chief cybersecurity legal officer, Adobe has confirmed to Security Week. Van Horenbeeck, the new CSO, will oversee cybersecurity-related decisions across the organization and work with Adobe to strengthen the security of its systems, solutions, and networks while safeguarding customer and corporate data.
Van Horenbeeck and Shabaka, according to Adobe, have joined the Legal, Security and Policy division, under the direction of chief trust officer (CTO) and general counsel Dana Rao.
