Adobe has recently issued a new warning for a pair of critical security vulnerabilities that are impacting the Photoshop image manipulation software.
The flaws can expose both Windows and MacOS users to code execution attacks. The updates (in Photoshop 2020 and Photoshop 2021) are being pushed with the help of their automatic updating mechanism.
Adobe indicated these vulnerabilities as memory corruption issues with 7.8 CVSS scores. According to the company, “Adobe has released updates for XMP-Toolkit-SDK. These updates resolve multiple critical and important vulnerabilities. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user.”
