After the company was hit with a ransomware attack two weeks ago, German logistics firm Hellmann has warned its customers and partners to be on the lookout for fraudulent calls and mail.
In an update about the cyber-attack that forced them to remove all connections to their central data center, the company said business operations are back up and running. Still, the number of fraudulent calls and emails has increased. The forensic investigation had confirmed that data was extracted from the company servers before systems were taken offline on December 9. Investigating is underway to know what type of data was extracted.
