Asus, a computer hardware manufacturer from Taiwan, has taken immediate action by sending out important firmware updates to its Wi-Fi router products. The purpose of these updates is to address vulnerabilities and protect users from the potential threats of remote code execution attacks.
In their official statement, Asus has identified and documented at least nine security flaws and weaknesses that could lead to code execution, denial-of-service incidents, information disclosure, and authentication bypasses. Among these vulnerabilities, a critical bug rated at 9.8/10 in terms of CVSS severity is the most severe.
