French multinational IT services and consulting company Atos announces the acquisition of two cybersecurity companies – Motiv ICT Security and In Fidem.
In Fidem is a Canada-based cybersecurity consulting firm with expertise in cloud security, digital identity, digital forensics, cyber-breach response, risk management, and security operations.
In a statement released last week, Atos said that the acquisition of Motiv would strengthen its position as the third worldwide MSS provider “by strengthening the Group’s local capabilities and bringing its recent investment in the Managed Detection and Response (MDR) platform, AIsaac, to Dutch customers.”
Atos will gain Motiv’s independently certified Security Operations Center (SOC), the Motiv Academy, which fast-tracks new talent into SOC operational deployment and over 180 highly skilled cybersecurity experts.
