The provider of voice over internet protocol or VoIP services, Bandwidth.com CLEC LLC is still suffering from a distributed denial-of-service attack which has led to outages to its services. Began on Sept. 25, the DoS attack has hampered voice, messaging, Enhance 911 services as well as access to its portal.
As it is a wholesale provider to other VoIP providers as well, the DDoS attack has also impacted services which are offered by Accent Communication Services, Twilio Inc., DialPad IncRingCentral Inc. and Phone.com Inc. It is still unknown exactly who has carried out the DDoS attack.
