Bearer, Notebook Labs, and Protexxa, three cybersecurity startups specializing in data security, web3 identity, and enterprise cyber hygiene, respectively, have each announced raising over USD 10 million in seed funding.
A USD 4 million investment from Kima Ventures, Partech, and Point Nine has increased the USD 8 million in funding raised by Bearer, a San Francisco-based company founded in 2018. With the help of automation, the startup’s data security SaaS solution helps businesses find technical and business logic bugs in code early in the development cycle.

To find data security risks, Bearer’s solution uses proprietary heuristics and open-source code analysis engines.
