According to Google, bot attacks are enormously increasing as businesses shift online amidst the pandemic. The company warns that bots create more business challenges, but most organizations are just focused on the most evident attacks.
Satya Nadella, Microsoft chief, said Microsoft had observed two years’ worth of digital transformation within two months. Google now recognizes that attackers have adapted to these modified conditions and are increasing attacks on recently online businesses, with bots frequently used.
Bot attacks can comprise everything from web scraping where bots are used to accumulate content or data, bots that strive to beat Captchas, ad fraud, inventory fraud, or card fraud.
