Cayosoft, an Ohio company that develops technology to help businesses manage and protect Microsoft Active Directory environments, has raised USD 22.5 million in funding and announced plans for international expansion.
According to the company, Centana Growth Partners led the investment, which will provide capital to expand markets for its Active Directory (AD) forest recovery, management, and governance products. Cayosoft cited data indicating that more than 90% of organizations rely on Active Directory to run daily operations.
The firm noted that AD has become an appealing target for malicious hackers due to its access and the ability to reuse the same methods over time.
