The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) of the United States has awarded US$2 million to Npower and Cyberwarrior, to develop cybersecurity workforce training programs. The funds will be used to provide cybersecurity training to the unemployed and underemployed communities.
The awards were announced corresponding the third week of the Cybersecurity Summit which is organized on the theme “Team Awesome: The Cyber Workforce”. This is the first time ever the agency has presented these awards, with the aim to recruit diverse cybersecurity talent and develop the workforce for the future.
