The company in enterprise networking and security, Cisco, has introduced new capabilities within the Cisco Security Cloud to expand its security framework in the era of AI.
Customers will benefit from Cisco’s unified, AI-powered, cross-domain security platform, which aims to shift the balance of power in favor of defenders. Cisco Hypershield, a first in the industry, enhances hardware acceleration for analyzing and responding to application and network behavior anomalies.
This now includes support for AMD Pensando Data Processing Units (DPUs) available from Cisco’s Unified Computing System (UCS) servers and other top vendors, as well as in future service-accelerated switching platforms.
