Cisco has announced patches for three vulnerabilities, including a high-severity Integrated Management Controller (IMC) vulnerability that allows a local attacker to inject arbitrary commands into the underlying operating system and gain root privileges.
The issue affects multiple products, including Secure Email Gateways, Secure Email and Web Manager, and Prime Infrastructure appliances.
A different high-severity flaw in IMC could allow a remote attacker logged in to an administrator account to inject commands and gain root privileges.
