Ermetic, a cloud access risk security company has secured $17 million in Series A funding. The latest round of funding was led by Accel along with participation from Glilot Capital Partners, Norwest Venture Partners, and Target Global. Andrei Brasoveanu, Partner at Accel, has joined Ermetic’s board of directors, as a result of the funding.
Ermetic plans to use the newly raised capital to scale research & development, sales, marketing, and customer support initiatives for its Cloud Infrastructure Entitlements Management platform. The firm offers enterprises with analytics-based solutions to prevent cloud data breaches by automating detection and remediation of identity and access risks in IaaS and PaaS offerings from Amazon, Google, and Microsoft.
