Wiz, a cloud security company based in New York, declared that it had raised an additional USD 300 million in funding, bringing its total funding to USD 10 billion.
The company has now raised USD 900 million in total, with Lightspeed Venture Partners serving as the lead investor. Existing investors also participated in this Series D funding round. With the additional funding, Wiz plans to increase its workforce and penetrate new markets, including the US, EMEA, and APAC.
Cloud-native application protection, vulnerability management, infrastructure-as-code (IaC) scanning, entitlement management, compliance, detection and response, and security posture management are all features of Wiz’s platform for cloud security.
