Recently, the Council of the European Union proclaimed that it has formally adopted a new cybersecurity strategy. The strategy was introduced to the council in December 2020 by the European Commission and the chief representative for foreign affairs.
Moreover, it includes a framework for defending organizations, companies, and EU nationals from cyber-attacks and helping secure information systems. Also, the strategy represents plans to make international cyberspace public, accessible, and safe.
The EU council said in a statement that the consequences recognize that cybersecurity is crucial for building a flexible, green, and digital Europe.
