Fortinet recently unveiled new firmware updates for Fortigate, addressing a severe pre-authentication remote code execution vulnerability in SSL VPN devices. On Friday, the updates were rolled out via various FortiOS firmware versions: 7.2.5, 6.2.15, 6.0.17, 7.0.12, and 6.4.13.
Although not explicitly mentioned in the release notes, security experts and administrators have suggested that these updates resolve a critical SSL-VPN RCE vulnerability discreetly. This vulnerability is set to be revealed on Tuesday, June 13th, 2023.
