Hackers have targeted the mega bugs in the F5 Big-IP devices which were recently unveiled. The attack was discovered by NCC group researchers headed by Rick Warren. The attackers tried to retrieve the admin password from the compromised devices. These Big-IP devices are widely deployed in cloud computing centers and are used in 48/50 of the Fortune 50 companies.
F5 networks released a security advisory and patches for the liabilities in the remote code execution functionality present in the Big-IP devices.
