Ubisoft has conducted a company-wide password change following the discovery of a cyber-attack. The French corporation stated in a brief cyber incident notification that the attack – which occurred during the week of March 1 – caused some interruptions, but provided no further specifics.
While Ubisoft did not disclose the attackers, it appears to be the same hacker gang that previously claimed credit for cyberattacks on other organizations such as NVIDIA, Samsung, and Vodafone.
The hackers claimed to have stolen huge volumes of source code from NVIDIA, Samsung, and Vodafone. This is the second cyber-attack disclosed by Ubisoft in the last three months.
