Delinea, a Silicon Valley access management vendor, has announced that it has acquired Israeli startup Authomize, expanding its product line with identity threat detection and response (IDTR) technologies.
The acquisition’s financial teams remained anonymous, but reports from Israel that were released in the media estimate the cost at “several tens of millions of dollars.”
Delinea, which is owned by private equity and was founded in April 2012 when Centrify and Thycotic merged, said that the acquisition expands its market penetration into the profitable identity space and provides technology to assist companies in removing identity-based threats from SaaS, cloud, and traditional systems.
