Christopher Krebs, the government’s top election security official, could be ousted in a post-election firing rampage at the Department of Homeland Security has sent shockwaves through Washington.
Director of DHS’ Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Christopher Krebs, had spearheaded a campaign to reject the false claims coming from Trump and his supporters.

As of Friday, Krebs was still on the job. CISA officials also held a regularly scheduled meeting with private sector members of a coordinating council to work with the agency to protect US elections against cyber-attacks and other disruptions.
