DigiCert, a digital trust provider, announced its definitive agreement to acquire Vercara from Golden Gate Capital and GIC.
Vercara, known for its cloud-based services, improves online security through managed Authoritative Domain Name System (DNS) and Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) security solutions. This acquisition enables DigiCert to broaden its cybersecurity offerings to protect various organizations against increasing cyberattacks.
The integration of Vercara, especially its UltraDNS and other advanced security products like UltraDDoS Protect and UltraWAF, complements DigiCert’s core PKI and certificate management infrastructure, facilitating a comprehensive DNS and certificate management experience.
