The breach resulted in unauthorized access to certain user data, including email addresses, usernames, and hashed passwords.
Discord assured users that no payment information or other sensitive data was compromised. The incident occurred due to a vulnerability in the support provider’s system, which has since been addressed.
Discord has taken immediate steps to mitigate the breach’s impact, including resetting passwords for affected users and implementing additional security measures.
