Credit reference agency Experian has been warned by UK’s privacy regulator to comply with an enforcement notice. The company now has nine months to comply or face fines worth 20 million Pounds or 4% of its global turnover.

Experian has been reportedly sharing person information of millions of users without consent. The firm sold data to businesses for marketing purposes as well as to political parties.
