The Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested a Texas man for planning to “kill about 70% of the internet” in a bomb attack targeted at an AWS (Amazon Web Services) data center in Virginia.
Seth Aaron Pendley, 28, was charged through a criminal complaint for trying to destroy a building with C-4 plastic explosives that he tried to purchase from an undercover FBI agent.
The FBI discovered Pendley’s plans in January when he disclosed his plot using a ‘Dionysus’ handle on the MyMilitia website – a forum used by militia supporters and members to communicate.
