The financial sector is witnessing an increase in credential stuffing and brute-force attack, according to the latest report from an F5 cybersecurity firm. The report said that financial institutions and banks in North America are targeted the most as most leaked credentials are from US services.

Between 2017 and 2019, brute force attacks, credential stuffing, and all the other account takeover attacks have become a more significant threat to the financial sector. These attacks are becoming deadly because the shelf life of leaked username and password combos is also getting shorter.
