Genea Partners With HID To Introduce Google Wallet’s Mobile Credentials

Genea, a cloud-based access control security company, has partnered with HID to introduce mobile credentials in Google Wallet. As part of this collaboration, Shopify, a commerce company with over 12,000 credentialed users, will allow its employees to store digital access credentials in Google Wallet.

Digital identity, also known as mobile key cards, enable users, IT and security teams, property managers, and others to distribute credentials using just the internet. Administrators can efficiently distribute credentials to their employees’ smartphones from an advanced dashboard in Genea Security.
