Cybersecurity company Group-IB has participated in a global takedown operation against Canadian Phishing-as-a-Service (PhaaS) provider LabHost, which has led to the arrest of 37 suspects worldwide. LabHost is a fully automated Phishing-as-a-Service platform that streamlines the creation of phishing websites, aiming to intercept and profit from users’ personal, credit card, and online banking credentials.
The company had over 2,000 subscribers and illegally obtained 480,000 card numbers, 64,000 PINs, and over 1 million victim passwords.
