Google is releasing a new feature in Chrome that will notify users when their password has been compromised with an automated process of changing it.
The functionality is based on Google’s Duplex technology and will be steadily rolled out, beginning with Chrome for Android. Duplex, which launched in 2018, was designed to assist people in completing online tasks such as purchasing movie tickets. It has since been updated to support a wider variety of tasks and is now available on Google Assistant for iOS and Android, as well as the web.
