Kaseya, the IT management and Software Company has recently announced that the recent ransomware attack impacted almost 1,500 organizations. However, there was no evidence of malicious modifications into the product source code.
Immediately after the cyber-attack, the company urged consumers to shut down on-premises servers that are running its VSA endpoint management as well as network monitoring tool. Later it was found to have exploited zero-day vulnerability within the product.
