HackNotice, a threat intelligence business, has raised 7 million USD in a Series A investment led by Strategic Cyber Ventures and Lytical Ventures. The money will mostly be utilized to expand the team around a well-established product.
The flagship product challenges the conventional understanding of danger awareness. Its major goal is to provide real-time notification of a specific threat affecting individual users, rather than to provide security awareness training to employees.
The goal is to get users involved in their own cyber protection. HackNotice researchers are embedded in hundreds of hacker forums, giving them access to the same files that criminals use and share. HackNotice ingests hundreds of megabytes of dark data per day from these sources. The platform indexes the material and breaks down the files.
