Hewlett Packard Enterprise has recently confirmed about a definitive agreement to buy Zerto, the cloud data management and protection firm. The deal was signed for US $374 million in cash.
With this acquisition, the technology giant is planning to expand its GreenLake cloud data services while moving the HPE Storage. The ultimate aim is to develop a cloud-native, software-defined data services business.
As explained by Antonio Neri, President and CEO at HPE – “Zerto’s market-leading cloud data management and protection software expands HPE GreenLake cloud data services, allowing customers to protect their data and rapidly act on insights, from edge to cloud.”
