Hewlett Packard Enterprise has confirmed about a new, definitive agreement to buy Zerto, a cloud data management and protection company. The business deal was signed for $374 million in cash.
With this acquisition, the tech giant is planning to expand its GreenLake cloud data services while move it’s HPE Storage. The ultimate objective is to advance a cloud-native, software-defined data services organization.
As Antonio Neri, President and CEO at HPE explains – “Zerto’s market-leading cloud data management and protection software expands HPE GreenLake cloud data services, allowing customers to protect their data and rapidly act on insights, from edge to cloud.”
