HiddenLayer’s Model Scanner Deployed For Microsoft Azure AI

HiddenLayer, a security provider for artificial intelligence (AI) models and assets, has announced that Microsoft Azure AI is now using its Model Scanner. The Model Scanner will check third-party and open-source models in Azure AI’s curated model collection to ensure they are free from cybersecurity vulnerabilities, malware, and other signs of tampering.

Open-source models are popular for being affordable and flexible, but they can be vulnerable to malicious exploitation. By confirming that the Model Scanner has scanned open-source models, Azure AI can help security teams simplify AI deployment processes and enable development teams to adjust or deploy open models with greater confidence safely.
