US government agencies claim that the Hive ransomware gang has targeted more than 1,300 businesses and has amassed over US$ 100 million in ransom payments over the last 1.5 years.

Hive, a Ransomware-as-a-Service (RaaS) threat that has been active since June 2021, has been used in attacks against companies and critical infrastructure targets, including communications, government, healthcare, IT, and critical manufacturing organizations.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) have released a joint alert describing observed indicators of compromise (IoCs) and tactics, techniques, and procedures to raise awareness of Hive ransomware (TTPs).
