HubSpot is actively investigating and blocking attempts to hack into customer accounts. The company has identified unauthorized access to less than 50 HubSpot accounts. The hackers are continuing to target a limited number of HubSpot customers. HubSpot has taken steps to revoke the attacker’s access to customer data and has contacted impacted customers.
The company believes the impact will be isolated to a small subset of its customer base. This is not the first time malicious hackers have targeted HubSpot’s customer base. In a previous incident 2022, a “bad actor” managed to hack into an employee account and export contact data from HubSpot accounts.
