On 3rd May, the cybersecurity enterprise Imperva declared that it plans to acquire API security company, CloudVector for an undisclosed amount. Imperva stated that the deal would enable the organization to accelerate its roadmap and differentiate itself in the API and web app protection marketplaces.
Being a pioneer in modern API security, Imperva protects customers from the risks associated with misuse of API via security vulnerabilities or cyber-attacks and exfiltration of confidential data.
The acquisition of CloudVector will enable the organization to advance its API security solution. Additionally, it will allow Imperva to broaden the security of its customers’ applications and data.
