There has been a significant increase in the number of cyberattacks on the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), according to a report from Lloyd’s Register Foundation. Organizations from manufacturing, transport, and energy, among others need to take a range of measures to meet the increasing IIoT risks since the Covid-19 pandemic. As per the study, many complacent organizations may not be able to recover from a catastrophic cyber-attack. Hence they need to prepare for a mindset via regulation and insurance that can build preventative security practices.
