IoT security visibility is extremely crucial for the organizations to probe for anomalies in network. Due to pandemic, IT workers are operating remotely. It makes corporate’s IT vulnerable to the threat of unauthorized visitors.
The recently conducted study suggests that the 75% of the respondents in Ireland who had IoT devices connected to their organisation’s network, reported an increase in non-business IoT devices connecting to corporate networks in the last year.
The most commonly reported devices were smart light bulbs, heart rate monitors, connected gym equipment, coffee machines, game consoles and even pet feeders.
