IT service firm Conduent has been hit by Maze ransomware attack. The company confirmed
that its European operations were hit with ransomware on May 29, which lasted about nine
hours before its systems were back online.
Cybersecurity firms Emsisoft and Bad Packets said Conduent had suffered Maze ransomware attack, the same that hit Cognizant in April. The Maze ransomware group has posted stolen Conduent data, including apparent customer audits to its Dark Web page. Maze hackers have published two zip files containing documents related to the company’s work in Germany. The files were released on a site that publicizes Maze attacks.
