Kivera, an Australian startup, has raised USD 3.5 million in seed funding. The funding came from General Advance, Round 13 Capital, and angel investors such as Srinath Kuruvadi (MD and head of cloud security at JPMorgan Chase), Ely Kahn (VP product management for cloud security at SentinelOne), and others.
The funding’s main goal is to increase the hiring of technical staff in the wake of the headquarters’ move from Sydney, Australia to New York.
The company has already come out of stealth, but is still keeping a low profile as it develops its product and works with its early clients (primarily in the financial sector).
